Modiafiable steel frame

Located in the Moreeni industrial park in the city of Hämeenlinna, MegaHub Logistics Center combines a freight terminal and a warehouse.

The terminal building, with a surface area of approximately 2,000 square metres was completed first, and it has now been complemented with a 15,400-square-metre warehouse building.

Ruukki’s delivery for the first and second phase of the project comprised a quick-to-build, modifiable steel framesandwich panel elements for the facades, and load-bearing profiled sheets.

The steel frame was fire protected according to Ruukki’s certificate from the VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. The protection method utilises the building’s fire sprinkler system, helping the customer avoid extra expenses related to fire protection.
