Modern facade with Cor-Ten Steel

Sushi Tokyo was established in 2009 as the result of passion for Japanese cuisine. In 2014 the company built a new restaurant in Poznań. Modern architecture makes this building very interesting and distinguishable. Such an effect was possible to achieve thanks to an attractive combination of glass, metal and Cor-Ten steel.

In 2014 Ruukki delivered 250 m² of Design Cor-Ten S7 cladding profiles, 1,00 mm thick. The facade was assembled by Montobud Artur Piechowiak.

Design Cor-Ten was installed vertically on the ventilated facade of the building’s lower floor. Steel sheets were fastened with the use of stainless self-drilling screws. Eaves and corner flashings were made of Cor-Ten flat steel sheets, 1,00 mm thick.

Adopted profile layout perfectly matches the building’s shape. Rusty color nicely contrasts with the surrounding greenery and the combination of glass and Cor-Ten on the entrance portal emphasizes modern design.
